Endless work to pay everyday bills.
79Working can be a set back.
If you all you do is work to pay bills and earn barely enough to save anything, I can tell you this much, you are not making enough money.
I created this article because I know a lot of people who consistently complain about working full time and still somehow they retain the "always broke" lifestyle. It can all be summed up in a few words:
You don't make enough money. Its time to move on with your life.
Chances are if you are reading this, you are probably worth more than you're getting paid because a stupid person wouldn't bother even reading this far. Now let me explain why working to pay bills is not all that great.
These are my top 4 reasons for not continuing with this lifestyle.
- It makes time fly-by faster than ever.
- You stress to pay the bills on time.
- You don't make enough money to move forward in life.
- You don't have time to progress. Works occupies all your time.
The world needs people who make it a better place, since you're living on it, the least you could do is not be selfish and just help yourself. When you're out working endless hours for little amounts of money you are just speeding through your life faster than ever. Its a waste of your precious time, if you cannot pay bills and keep moving on with life you are not in a very good position and should highly contemplate change.
If you are working endlessly to save for post secondary schooling, you might be on a better track (provided that you select a concrete degree) however, you can easily screw it up and spend it all on a worthless business degree that will get you nowhere ahead from where you're at right now. Anyone can manage a business, its something that can be self trained just by being around a typical business atmosphere.
Many high end companies will see business administration on your file and won't even consider you. There was an article on MSN money with top employers (Microsoft being one of them) and many did confirm that if they see business admin as your major on your resume, they assume that you are a confused individual. There are so many people who take business admin its unreal... Companies don't want clueless individuals who don't know what they want to do with their life. Every business prefers to hire reliable people they can hang onto. Why? So that they don't have to replace and retrain new employees every month. Again, time is money and even more so for a business. Think about it, would you want to throw away your time training new people and have to pay them while in training, then have them quit a few weeks in?? Talk about useless time consumption!
My verdict: Don't focus on work and paying bills, focus on moving forward in your life so that eventually you can eliminate bill paying completely; this way you won't have to work your butt off to pay them and have no life. Just remember how time goes by when you're living day after day...
