How important the time in your life really is.

Time fly's by faster than you can imagine.

Here are 4 tips to slow it down:

  1. Don't be repetitive.
  2. Randomize your daily routines.
  3. Wake up early.
  4. Don't sit around being useless.

Now you're probably thinking in your head "you can't slow down time!". Although this is true, you can easily trick your mind into thinking its going by at a much slower rate. When you are used to doing all the same things each day, you lose track of time.

Think about it, if you are working for 20 years without anything interesting happening within that 20 years, you are going to feel like crap looking back because you didn't do anything but work... All you have is memories of working your butt off and 20 years will feel like it shot right by. If you have something worth looking back on, you look at it as an accomplishment or experience. Heck, there are some people who screwed up horribly in the past and still look back and think to themselves, they wouldn't have done it any other way... Part of life is experimenting and screwing up. Sometimes the safe road may seem safe however, it may not be the smartest decision. Look at my excerpt on jobs and how they are never guaranteed. A good friend of mine was just laid off about a week ago after working at the same company for over 5 years.

Another thing that'll make you feel like you aren't a waste of skin is waking up early. Anywhere from around 7 to 9 AM is prime. Waking up at 2 PM isn't a good start to your day. Its called being lazy and time will fly fast if you keep doing this. Your days end up being super short, by the time you are actually into doing something, its time to go back to sleep. How are you suppose to do anything waking up that late anyways?

Time is money.

Next time you are at work; think about how much you are getting paid hourly. Is an hour of your time worth the price they are paying you? If you are receiving $15.00 an hour for example, by the end of your lifetime are you worth all that money you earned? Maybe you're worth more...

What do you want to accomplish in your lifetime?

Giving up is possibly the worst thing you can do since you end up resolving nothing. If you show no incentive, you won't have a chance to turn things around for the better. What's important is realizing you need to turn things around before you end up throwing too much of your time away. Think about all those people in their 40s still renting and working at Wal-Mart for less than $15 an hour. Do you want to end up like these people? Work, pay rent and buy cheap stuff... you're on this world once, why not make the most of it!?

When I'm in my 40s, I hope to God that I've at least made a difference in today's modern society. How? By inspiring self motivated people that the world can benefit from, and not people who just use up the worlds precious resources.
